Programme
After a great response to our call for contributions we were once again excited to be able to offer a range of opportunities for conversations, creativity and collaborative learning at the 2026 UK Knowledge Mobilisation Forum on 22nd and 23rd of April in Bristol.
Our programme will cover three broad areas: (i) knowledge mobilisation practice, (ii) knowledge mobilisation research and (iii) evaluation and knowledge mobilisation development.
We have really taken up the ‘curious’ theme this year and will be exploring these themes through four types of engagement activity:
- Quick Curiosities — These 15-minute sessions are a chance to share knowledge mobilisation ‘curiosities’ during repeated small, intimate, sessions. The focus is on stories, creative outputs, tools and new ideas!
- Curious Tales — These 30-minute sessions are a blend of art and science with a dash of drama. There are only a few rules – one of the most important is the ban on PowerPoints. Presenters are expected to tell their stories in the most engaging way to promote questions and sharing of experiences between participants.
- Curiosity-Powered Workshops — These longer sessions are designed for us to try out something new together. These sessions will help stretch our curiosity and our skills.
- Posters for the Curious — Our interactive poster session will involve peer-interviews to highlight key points of the poster. It’s a great way to share insights and have a conversation with colleagues!
The Forum is a space for collaborative learning and reflection amongst those engaged in the art and science of sharing knowledge and ensuring that it can be used. We can’t wait for you to join us in Bristol!
