We want the Forum to be a welcoming, healthy and safe space for everyone and are aware that experiences of the pandemic have been very different across our community. We are also aware that the effects of COVID-19 on different people are variable and that many people (including committee members!) continue to have significant and valid concerns.
To help us keep everyone as safe as possible and to provide a degree of reassurance, we have carried out a comprehensive assessment of COVID-19 related risks. As a result we have put a number of measures in place to mitigate these risks. Recognising that we are a UK-wide (and increasingly global) community, some of these measures go above and beyond current legal requirements or guidance in England.
If you are coming to the Forum we will ask you to:
- Wear a face covering (FFP2 masks offer better protection for you and others than other types)
- Take a rapid lateral flow test before attending (we are aware that this may be difficult for some with the end of free testing, but we encourage you to do so if you can)
- Sanitise your hands regularly (individual hand sanitiser will be provided)
- Maintain physical distance from other delegates as far as possible and be mindful of people’s varying levels of comfort with physical contact
You can view and download a copy of our full risk assessment below. If you are considering coming to the Forum please take the time to have a look and get in touch if you have any questions. Thank you for helping us to keep everyone safe.
