Alison’s background is in educational studies. She took up her current post as Professor and Director of the Cardiff Unit for Research and Evaluation in Medical and Dental Education (CUREMeDE), Cardiff University in 2009 after establishing a career in researching healthcare education at the University of Birmingham. The three strands of her work encompass studies in medical education, dental education, and knowledge transfer and mobilisation. She is an experienced project lead, and regularly makes presentations at national and international conferences.
